The elusive question that eludes most of us artists. I have created this site to further arts and artists, being one myself.

Before the early part of the last century artists were supported by wealthy patronage and the church. This time was long gone. Not to say that there are not wealthy individuals and groups that support the arts, it is just not so common.

When Pablo Picasso was young and broke he would give 5 painting a month at the very begining of his carrer to ( his art dealer friend ck spl vollard) to be supported. For this he would get a place food, paint, brushes, canvasses, basically all expenses covered so he could just produce.

I have seen some very talented artists working jobs to survive just to paint in their spare time. and it is unfair. i have spent alot of time studying this thing called marketing and guerrillia mktng. there are many ways
